Enjoy fishing on sparkling blue, 100-acre Lake Mescalero while trying to catch 1 of 50 tagged trout. One of the 50 is the grand prize trout that could be worth $250,000!
Fish for other prizes too! ... like who will catch the most carp, the largest carp ... and the ugliest carp contest! It's all fun ... hook, line and sinker! Partial use of the lake will be enforced during Lunker Plunker Fishing Contest. Fishing guests may purchase permits at the Boat Docks for $25 each. A limit of 125 permits will be issued per day.
