Boating and Fishing Lake Mescalero

Boating (open during summer months) and Fishing on the sparkling blue, 100-acre Lake Mescalero is an experience like none other. A New Mexico fishing license is not necessary at the Inn and Rainbows, Cutthroats and Browns are all here for taking! The Lake is regularly stocked from the Apache fishery to assure quality catches all year round, and the Inn Boat Docks have a great snack and bait shop as well! Imagine ... a hungry Rainbow surfaces, flashing in the sunlight, to take your fly and the rest of the afternoon is pure bliss.

The water sports crowd can also have a blast with a host of available watercraft rental at the Inn. Kayaks, canoes, row boats and single and double paddle boats are waiting for you at the Lake Mescalero Boat Docks! Imagine yourself gliding across the silvery, ripple-less surface of the Lake as you watch the sunset over Sierra Blanca all before heading out for an evening of exciting gaming action ... does it get any better than this?
